Mell offers a safe gentle space for you to access those core issues that limit your true expression and potential. Empathic and insightful, Mell brings an authentic and grounded presence to the counselling relationship where she co-creates a therapeutic space for individuals and couples to assist in discovering a more embodied nourishing path to living and relating by helping her clients to release stuck, heavy patterns leading to freedom mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

She holds a particular interest in the Gut-Mind connection or also known as the ‘second’ brain in the body. Through finding ways to communicate and relate to each other through a body centered exploration of what it means to be intimately you. Mell integrates Emotional Freedom Technique with Somatic Therapies in a dynamic and experiential container, and works holistically through a Gestalt lens.

Mell’s relational style of counselling is warm, sometimes humorous and conversational, she is a nurturer by nature, who has a clear hearted openness that fosters well-being in others, and has a genuine interest in helping people. Mell is a mother to two children, has numerous pets and can often be found in her garden. She feels that the challenges in her own life’s journey have given her the capacity to understand and help others.
