Counselling

Choosing a therapist is a very personal choice and my aim as your therapist, is to empower and support you, whilst providing a respectful, empathic and non-judgmental environment to allow the uniqueness that you present with unfold. This leads towards experiencing a happier, healthier more fulfilling life, as you learn to release stuck heavy patterns that have been holding you back or weighing you down. Through a relationally orientated style of counselling that is warm, sometimes humorous and experiential, it is my hope you learn to discover a greater intimacy within yourself and with others in your life.

I use a whole bodied holistic approach whilst supporting you to create change at a deep level. Within this safe framework I can assist clients who are facing difficult issues to transform those experiences into finding a new understanding of who you are whilst working towards feeling more alive and with the view to discovering a more embodied self-acceptance of who you are.

It is my belief that through emotional support in therapy and good nutrition that you as an individual or together as a couple can leave empowered and with the confidence to take action in using new coping mechanisms that are effective in promoting a greater sense of well-being and mindfulness.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

It is quite normal to feel ambivalent about therapy. I believe that therapy works, when you find the right therapist, who can connect with you and help you connect better with others as well. When you find a therapist who can listen carefully with care to what you are saying and help you connect with your inner truth, yet challenge your unconscious self-limiting beliefs you have found the recipe for real change and transformation.

Specific Issue(s) I’m Skilled at Helping With

Helping people to have close relationships while holding on to a strong sense of individuality. We are always in relationship, although the settings may change – romance, family, friends, and work. I like helping people to rediscover themselves and learn how to love and live with more ease.
